Been busy with lab work lately. Trying to producing more polymers, extraction it out and finally i have the lovely polymer. Doing test on it, and the bloody lab assistant keep on delaying working on it. Damn! Trying to extract out the violacein again, fail for the fifth time. Try again, and I did it! Happy for 2 second only when I found out it is not the expected result. Just another dead end.
When I first time watch this short video showing that thousands of people show up at Chicago for the Oprah Block Party, I was really amazed!!
First: I love Black Eyed Peas! There song is just so amazing and I love their songs.
Second: The flash mob dance is so so so COOL! I was thinking how freaking AWESOME that thousand of people can come together and doing the same thing!!! The dance started from single women and rapidly it spread among all of the people, gathered there. Can you imagine with such a big crowd, in an open air can do the flash mob dance! They must had practice it for a long time.
Go! Go! Go! I somehow wish I was inside the crowd dancing it also. XD
The Wedding Game is a Singapore/Malaysia romantic comedy film. The film centers on actors Jack Fang (Christopher) and Vikki Tse (Fann) who orchestrate a faux engagement to boost their showbiz careers.
Jack Fang publicly proposes to Vikki Tse during the live telecast of a regional awards show. Surprised but happy, Vikki accepts. What the public doesn’t know is that the entire love affair of these two famous celebrities, Jack and Vikki, is an elaborate and meticulously planned ruse designed by their ambitious managers May (Alice Lau) and Tom (Charles Chan) to trick the public into believing that they are getting married.
In reality, Jack has disliked Vikki from the first day they met and vice versa. Yet for fame and money from endorsements, these rival celebrities keep up with their “fake” marriage to up their popularity. Just when everything is going so well, an incident has rattled some of the fans and the media. There is doubt now lingering about the authenticity of this love match.
I love the scene when Vikki go and stay with Jack. Jack place is a very dirty place where he will throw the cloth that he had wear everywhere, and Vikki hate it very much. They always quarreling and fighting each other but once it was in front of the media, their attitute change imediately into a very lovey dovey couple.
However, after they spend time together everyday, they start to know each other more and falling in love. Both of them are so sweet in the movie. Loving it. XD
I just love watching the way they fight each other and it was so funny.
Here is the trailer:
Here is the theme song for the movie, 我们的爱 sing by Christy姚慧敏, and Hagen陳孟奇. This is a very nice song. Enjoy.

I came across this blog while I was reading my friend blog.
At first, I thought it was quiet a boring blog because the blog basically just talk about Sarikei Time Capsule. Sarikei actually is my hometown, a place where I grow up before I came to Penang for my studies. So, I had this thought in my mind ‘What so interesting about Sarikei? It was just a small town with lots of nice foods and nice people. A town without any entertainment, a town that all the shop will be close at 5pm, a town that is no car at all on the road at night.’
But, because I was boring and it was actually already 2.11am in the morning. Yet, I just refuse to go to sleep. So I just browse through his blog. Then I saw this. I just suddenly have tears in my eyes and I realize how much I miss my hometown. I miss this ABC or so call cendol! It was taste so so so nice!!!
Sarikei Rejang Hawker Centre!! Hey! My mother stall is here!! I grow up here! This is the place where I spend most of my time since I’m young! This is the place where I study and do my homework! Where else shall I belong to if not here. I saw my mum in this photo!!
I also miss Sarikei Mee Suah! No kidding and Sarikei Mee Suah is 100% hand-made! The taste is just so so much different from those that you can buy from the supermarket. Mee Suah usually go together with red wine chicken soup or bak cheng or eight treasures) soup. I just love it so so so much!! Then I found out this blog, I really so thankful to them for the blog! *I miss my hometown more and more*
I even found out how Sarikei got the name from here!
And the lots variety of fruits that we have at Sarikei!!Keranji, local longan, pineapple, Dabai, Salak, Soursop and lots more! Hey! Don’t ever think that what so special about it since you can get the food from other place also. Don’t ever estimate Sarkei Pineapple!! It really so sweet and tasty, you can find more about it here! Let me tell you that it really different!! Sarikei local fruits taste lots more tasty than other place!!! Never try never know and you can trust on me about this!! Those that try before will surely came back and miss the fruits here!!
I’m just so stupid to think that Sarikei is a normal town, a town of nobody, a town that no one will ever know, even most Malaysian dunno where is Sarikei. But now I know! Sarikei is a place like no others! It is a place where I grow up, a place where I know there is plenty of nice food to eat where I can’t find it at another place!

“The Ultimatum” is one of the new singapore drama that just start airing last May 2009. This drama revolves around the tale of two girls, Ye Yu Chen (Tay) and Fang Song Qiao (Wong) who were accidentally swapped at childbirth. Growing up in very different households, a twist of fate sees their paths crossing more than 20 years later with Ye now the CEO of her father’s large conglomerate company and Fang a gutsy lawyer who didn’t enjoy such a cushy life.
Below is the story synopsis:
Years ago, Ye Song Nian, the boss of Phoenix Corporation, raped his employee, Zheng Wen Yu, who was already pregnant with her husband’s child at that time. Months later, both Wen Yu and Song Nian’s second wife, Su Zhen, give birth to daughters in the same hospital and due to the nurses’ negligence, the identities of the baby girls were swapped. Wen Yu discovers that her biological daughter suffers from congenital heart disease. Out of a mother’s desire for her child to receive the best medical care coupled with hatred towards Song Nian, she decided to capitalize on the situation by perpetuating the mistake. Thus, Ye Yu Chen and Fang Song Qiao, whose identities were swapped, grew up in two disparate environments.
In his old age, Song Nian goes into semi-retirement, having handed the running of his company to his god-sister (Jiang Ruo Lin) and sons (Ren Xiao and Ren Yi). Ruo Lin’s son, Ren De, works in Song Nian’s company. Yu Chen also holds the position of an AVP.
On the surface, the family seems to be a harmonious. However, beneath this facade, everyone is eying Song Nian’s position, clamouring to gain Song Nian’s favour so that they might be entrusted with an important role in the company. Having grown up in such a scheming and manipulative environment, Yu Chen’s survival instincts are honed.
Song Qiao’s childhood, on the other hand was filled with unhappiness. Wen Yu vents her hatred towards Song Nian on her. She was often scolded and beaten for every little mistakes made. Song Qiao bears with it in silence and grows up to be a lawyer.
When Song Qiao was young, she had an extraordinary encounter with a boy, Sun Jie. Sun Jie’s father, Sun Nan Hai, had been a conman and was made a scapegoat in a kidnap. The young Sun Jie resorted to theft to support his younger sister, Sun Min, until he became Song Nian’s foster son. He and Yu Chen get along very well.
Over 20 years later the girls, whose identities had been swapped at birth, get acquainted through a molest case.
Yu Chen’s god-brother, Ren De, molests an employee, An Qi. The righteous Song Qiao takes Ren De to court. Ruo Lin is worried that Song Nian might learn about the case. Yu Chen volunteers to resolve the issue. Yu Chen initiates an out-of-court settlement and demands a huge compensation but Song Qiao is persistent on hauling Ren De to court. Though on opposing ends, the girls could not help but admire the other’s strength and character.
Phoenix Corporation has grown into a conglomerate over the years; its business includes overseas casinos and luxurious cruise. The aged Song Nian is undecided who should be his successor. Song Nian’s oldest son had been killed in a botched-up kidnap years ago (unknown to all, this has been Ruo Lin’s doing). Second son, Ren Xiao, is secretly obsessed with Ruo Lin and blindly supports everything she does, pushing for Ren De’s succession of Song Nian’s empire and treating his own wife, Yuki, coldly. Su Zhen’s son with Song Nian, Ren Yi, is ambitious but incapable, often messing up what he sets out to achieve. Fortunately for him, Yu Chen is always at hand to help clear his mess.
Yu Chen grew up in an environment of distrust and she is constantly embroiled in vicious struggles with Ruo Lin’s clique. Due to her ability to keep her cool and turn situations around, she finally gains her father’s trust and becomes the CEO of Phoenix Corporation.
Yu Chen had had an unforgettable relationship. Three years ago, she met the famous Zhang Feng, dubbed as God of Gamblers, in Macau and had planned to marry him. However, he vanished on the eve of their wedding, and was never seen again. Rumour has it that he has been killed by his enemies. Yu Chen refuses to believe those rumours and she continues to harbour the hope of his return. She meets Zhou Zhi Da, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Zhang Feng (though the two are polar opposites in all other areas), and is convinced that the two are actually the same person.
A-Da is a bona fide gambling addict who is skilled in all forms of the vice and has problems keeping a job. Helpless, his wife (A-Bao) recommends him for the job of a cleaner at the café where she works. Yu Chen is convinced that A-Da is Zhang Feng, who might have suffered from amnesia due to some accident, but the latter doesn’t even know her.
Sun Min is Sun Jie’s younger sister, and has been a fan of the art of gambling since she was young. She had aspired to learn from the God of Gamblers and upon a chance encounter with A-Da, becomes obstinately convinced (like Yu Chen) that A-Da is the God of Gamblers. To her, this is God-sent and knowing that the God of Gamblers doesn’t accept female disciples, she hits upon the crazy idea of male impersonation, entering the cafés’ service disguised as a man hoping to learn gambling from A-Da.
The master baker at the café is Fang Song Qing, Song Qiao’s younger brother, who has been nicknamed Prince Cake because of his strapping good looks. “Infiltrating” the café as a guy, Sun Min thinks otherwise. To her, he is no more than a simple and honest guy whose world revolves around cakes. Unknowingly, they start to develop feelings for each other. As Song Qing has yet to realize Sun Min’s gender, hilarious situations occur.
A-Da starts to become confused. He’s been directionless all his life, and due to Yu Chen and Sun Min’s persistence that he is the God of Gambler, he begins to question his own identity. He starts to believe he might be the God of Gamblers, and that he had suffered from amnesia due to an accident and that A-Bao had rescued him and brought him to Singapore to escape the f eu d in Macau . He subconsciously eases into the role of the God of Gamblers.
Song Qiao meets Sun Jie again and the latter falls in love with her. Song Qiao is unaware that Sun Jie is a prodigious thief until the appearance of the Interpol, He Chao Qun. He Chao Qun is seemingly interested in Song Qiao, and is determined to nab Sun Jie. Song Qiao makes the painful decision of ending her budding relationship with Sun Jie upon realization of his identity. Sun Jie loses his “gift for theft” to a hand injury during an accident, plunging him into the abyss of despair.
After exchanging her daughter for Song Nian’s all those years back, Wen Yu has been secretly concerned about her daughter. She tries to get close to Yu Chen. Unable to contain her emotions any longer, she finally blurts out Yu Chen’s real identity, much to Yu Chen’s shock. After regaining her composure, Yu Chen is thrust into an emotional turmoil. For the power and status that she has fought so hard to gain, she cannot reveal her real identity, especially to the Ye family. She schemes to prevent Wen Yu from divulging the secret and at the same time, fends against Song Qiao, trying to obviate her contact with Song Nian. She even causes Wen Yu’s death accidentally in her attempt to stop the latter from telling the truth. Hence, her life starts to go into turmoil.
In the course of Chao Qun’s investigation into Wen Yu’s death leads to the unraveling of her rape by Song Nian. Song Qiao vows to bring Song Nian to justice, but stumbles upon the shocking revelation of her true parentage and is confused. Yu Chen’s true colours are revealed and this kindles Song Qiao’s suspicion that the former had been behind the deaths of Wen Yu and Ren Yi.
A-Da cannot bear to see Yu Chen isolated and steeped in her criminal ways. Thus, he chooses to stay guard by her side though deep inside, he knows that Yu Chen would ultimately trudge upon the path of no return.

I character I like the most in this drama is Sun Jie. He is a 36-year-old security manager by day and a thief by night. Although not a top notch conman like his father, Sun Jie has a gift for stealing. After losing both his parents, the responsibility of raising his sister Sun Min falls on him. Since then, he starts making a living through stealing, and is taken in by Ye Song Nian, whom he regards as his ‘father’.
Cunning and arrogant, he takes the law into his own hands and believes he is superior to all human beings, and even finds Song Qiao’s upright ways unrealistic. His character goes through a drastic change when he loses his ability to steal after his right arm is handicapped.
However I was bit dissapointed when Sun Jie die. I was hoping Sun Jie will end up together with Song Qiao.
Anyway, I love this drama. Here is the theme song for The Ultimatum, enjoy it. ^^
I came across this mmv (maple movie video) in youtube, and found out that it was super funny. Well, it actually is on the radio and people somehow record it down and make it into mmv. I just keep laughing when looking at this video. Hope you enjoy it too. ^^
When I just watch this drama, I feel like don’t want to continue watch it. But somehow I continue to watch it till the end and found that this is a very nice drama!!
The story is about Xiao Hua (Rainie Yang), a bubbly Taiwanese girl has the style of something no one can name. She is a girl that like to wear all 7 colours onto herself.
Xiao Hua has no intentions of changing the way she looks and dress until her elementary school classmate, Jia Si Le (Dean Fujioka) came back from Japan. Jia Si Le is deeply in love with Xiao Hua, despite coming back to Taiwan for and arrange marriage with Jiang Mi(Chen Yan Yi), Jia Si Le does whatever he can to get Xiao Hua to be his girlfriend.
The story start with Xiao Hua meets Tang Meng (Wilber Pan) the famous, poison-tongued fashion verdict who happens to be Jia Si Le’s best friend, when her motorcycle breaks down. The two share a taxi, only to argue over each other’s sense of style. Tang Meng even address Xiao Hua as christmas tree. In the end, Tang Men angrily storms out, unwittingly leaving an expensive pair of scissors behind.
Later, Jia Si Le holds an elementary school reunion party and invites both Tang Men and Xiao Hua. Tang Men meets Jiang Mi, who tells him that she and Si Le gave each other one year to find their true loves before submitting to his parents’ will for them to be married. Also, after being pushed into a swimming pool and being told by her former classmates that she has no sense of style, Xiao Hua decides she will change her image so as not to embarrass Si Le.
The next day, when Tang Men’s assistant comes to Xiao Hua’s shop to look for the lost pair of scissors, Xiao Hua decides to use them to blackmail Tang Men and get him to teach her how to be an upper-class woman. As Tang Men and Xiao Hua spend more time together, they slowly begin to realize their feelings for one another, though they initially deny them. Meanwhile, Jiang Mi, who is currently dating Tang Men, asks him to get close to Xiao Hua so that she can get Si Le back.
Tang Meng feel that Xiao Hua is very annoying, loud and dislike her very much by always calling her christmas tree and idiot. However, he suddenly sees Xiao Hua’s inner beauty and falls in love with Xiao Hua without even realizing it.
Overall, I like the drama very much. It is full of humor and romantic also.
Well, the funny expression of Rainie and Wilber in this drama is really priceless. I really admirer both their professional in acting. All the best and keep it up!!
Here is some video to share. The video is a part where Tang Meng is thinking about the past and they played Rainie’s full song, 带我走
